This week on the blog, we talk to Masataka Inada, a Japanese photographer who loves to capture starry nights and the beauty of nature in his country!
A short interview with 13 photos in full resolution powered by Prodibi!
A few words about you, how did you start photography?
I started photography when I was a university student.
One of the first photographs I took was a cherry tree, and unexpectedly, it was reproduced in an article of a local newspaper. Since then, I became much more enthusiastic and professional when it comes to taking pictures.
Did you try other photography styles? Or landscape photography has always been your favorite one?
Yes, I did, but the landscape genre is my favorite one. I have also tried recently to shoot more portrait photography.
What was your favorite photography trip?
My favorite photography trip was Kozu island in Japan. I went there to see the stars with a friend of mine.
Massive stars spread all over our head. That was amazing.
Are you inspired by the work of other photographers or directors, artists?
Yes, I was inspired a lot by Kagaya who is an astronomy photographer and Hideaki Hamada who is a film photographer.

Do you have projects for the future like workshops, personal series or travels?
No, I don’t have an ongoing project in particular, but I want to hold more exhibitions in the future.
